Cystic Fibrosis Trust

BME Global is raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust by sponsoring our finance director, Paul Cook, in the Coast to Coast race where he will run from one side of New Zealand to the other, a staggering 242 kilometres.
Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is the UK's most common life-threatening inherited disease affecting over 8,000 babies, children and young adults. CF affects vital organs in the body, especially the lungs and digestive system, by clogging them with thick, sticky mucus. There is presently no cure.
The Cystic Fibrosis Trust funds research aimed at understanding, treating and curing Cystic Fibrosis.
Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research
Around 28,500 people of all ages, from newborn babies to grandparents are diagnosed in the UK with blood cancers every year.
Leukaemia research rightly proud of the progress we have made with childhood leukaemia. When our charity started in 1960 children with leukaemia had virtually no chance of survival. Now thanks to the research, nine out of ten survive the most common form of childhood leukaemia.
BME Global regularly donates money to Leukaemia Research to ensure people of all ages are given the best possible chance of survival and of living a normal healthy life after treatment for blood cancer.
Kith & Kids

Kith & Kids is a small charity based in London providing support to people of all ages who have learning disabilities or autism (many also have physical and sensory disabilities) and their families. People with these types of disability face social exclusion every day.
It does not have to be that way and for over forty years Kith & Kids has provided high quality, inclusive projects and activities to help people develop the confidence and skills to lead fulfilled and independent lives. These include volunteer supported holiday time projects, a summer respite camp, weekend clubs and friendship schemes.
Kith and Kids are a valuable resource, providing information and crisis support for parents, carers and siblings from across the UK.

Supporting local businesses and communities
For each event we work with local contractors, printers and suppliers wherever possible within the country.
In Saudi Arabia we work closely with King Saud University, Riyadh Techno Valley and King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and engage university students in our strategic conferences to facilitate academic and economic development of the society.
The Forest Stewardship Council

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international non-profit organisation founded in 1993 to support the world's forests.
FSC members comprise a diverse group of representatives from environmental and social groups, the timber trade, paper industry, forestry profession, indigenous people's organisations, community forestry groups and forest product certification organisations from around the world.
It is their job to ensure that the forests are managed to protect wildlife habitat and respect the rights of local communities.
BME Global uses FSC Paper by an FSC Certified Printing Company wherever possible.
